You need to scale down your fat consumption- peculiarly on trans fats and saturated fats. To help you feeling full get adequate fiber. For that, vegetables rich in minerals and vitamins will help you greatly. Is cardiovascular training helping me in losing belly fat? Cardiovascular training makes you burning fat while you're working out. So it is very helpful. Make sure you train with changing intensity levels- you need to be totally out of breath, then take 2-3 minutes to catch your breath again, then challenge yourself again. Your fitness level will improve a lot, if you're able to incorporate this into your daily routine. After your workouts you will still burn calories, what will assist you to lose your body fat. I do not want to become bulky. Should I do strength training? As a woman, you would have to train very hard to become bulky. If you increase your muscle mass you will burn fat even when you're not physically active. Muscles burn fat, fat tissue doesn’t burn fat. Replacing fat with lean muscles is a good idea. Are abs-exercises helpful? I am thinking about situps or crunches. Yes and no. Some people think "if I have fat on my abs and I'm training my abs then I will lose fat on my abs". That’s a myth. But: If you strengthen your abdominal muscles, you will burn more calories- more muscles mean automatically more calories burnt. And: If you have well trained abdominal muscles, you’ll easier suck in a protruding belly. Is it really true that sleep is essential in losing belly fat? Yes, you're right. There is a statistical correlation between lack of sleep and obesity. In more general terms, try to find enough time for yourself. The more stress you have, the higher the likelihood of being overweight or obese. Do Pilates or Yoga help? Pilates and Yoga help a great deal. They make your midsection stronger and challenge your cardiovascular system. People might even see you as more powerful and energetic because your posture improves.
